Modern Day Slavery Statement

A voluntary statement by Ping Technology Solutions Limited setting out our commitment to ethical trading and the steps we take to combat modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Policy and terms reference

Voluntary statement

Our annual consolidated turnover is under £36 million. Although we are not required to make a modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are making this voluntary Statement to demonstrate our commitment to ethical trading principles.

About us, our organisational structure and supply chain

Our structure

We are Ping Technology Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16468306 (we, us, our). Our head office is located at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, England.

We have the following active subsidiary companies: Ping Payment Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16323763 (trading as Pulsare Pay).

Our business

We are a provider of payment solutions in the fintech sector, including PDQ machines, payment links, e-commerce integrations and prepaid cards. In our supply chain, we are involved in the provision of payment solutions globally. As such, we are committed to ensuring that:

  • All Ping Technology Solutions Limited employees working in payments, software, and fintech services are fairly paid and have formal contracts.
  • We engage only with technology vendors, payment processors, hardware providers, and financial partners who uphold ethical labour practices and comply with anti-slavery laws.
  • We monitor our global fintech supply chain — including PDQ machines, payment links, e-commerce integrations, and prepaid card services — to identify and address any modern slavery risks.
  • Supplier and partner agreements include clear obligations to maintain ethical labour standards and comply with anti-slavery regulations.
  • Employees and partners are trained to recognise modern slavery risks, and confidential channels exist to report concerns.

Modern slavery

Modern slavery includes any conduct constituting modern slavery under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and includes child labour, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, deceptive recruitment for labour and services, slavery and slavery-like practices, servitude and other forms of serious exploitation.

Indicators of modern slavery may include:

  • excessive working hours;
  • isolation;
  • abusive working conditions; and
  • underpayment, non-payment or withholding of wages.

Assessing and managing risk

We have implemented the following measures to identify, reduce and combat the risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains:

  • Investigating allegations of modern slavery in our business operations and supply chains.
  • Engaging with our suppliers to improve our position in preventing and readily identifying, reducing and combating modern slavery risks.
  • Only employing agency workers through reputable employment agencies that we believe adhere to our anti-slavery and human trafficking policy.
  • Training our staff on their obligations under our internal policies and this Statement.
  • Implementing processes to mitigate modern slavery risks and reviewing such processes from time to time.

Organisational policies

We have the following policies in place relevant to modern slavery, which we continuously review and update:

  • Whistle-blowing Policy;
  • Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy;
  • Employee Handbook; and
  • Equal Opportunities Policy.

Due diligence

We expect those we do business with to address modern slavery within their own business operations and supply chains to the same standard. We vet suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure they are committed to ethical labour practices. Before entering into, or during the term of, an agreement with any third party for services or supply arrangements, we may obtain from that supplier assurances of compliance with the Act and our internal policies.

We may also investigate any modern slavery concerns identified in relation to our suppliers, who are then expected to cooperate with our investigations and any further measures we consider appropriate to mitigate the identified concerns.

Effectiveness in combatting slavery and human trafficking

We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been at ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:

  • the percentage of suppliers and sub-contractors vetted for ethical labour practices;
  • the number of inspections of direct suppliers and sub-contractors in our supply chains in the past year;
  • the number of reported breaches in the past year; and
  • the percentage of staff receiving training on identifying and addressing the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Staff and training

All staff have a role to play in preventing, detecting and reporting modern slavery risks. Our staff are required to immediately notify management of any actual or suspected modern slavery which may be in breach of our internal policies.

We encourage reporting through regular meetings with relevant personnel and may conduct anonymous surveys. Our staff must immediately notify management if they engage with a supplier who engages in, or is suspected to engage in, modern slavery or fails to take measures to prevent modern slavery risks.

Variations to this Statement

We may vary, remove or replace this Statement at any time.
